Another piece of advice: How much to pay for real estate?

We met a lady who found a piece of land with a wonderful view of the Azuay mountains. The land was on a slope. Ecuadorians know that the harder the slope of the land, the lower the price. Is just a fact, the way how Ecuadorians deal with these things. It does not matter if the view is wonderful or if the neighbors are the most generous people over the earth or if the place is surrounded by great walls.

This lady who we met (not Ecuadorian) paid way too much for this land. She did not know about what EC people think about this things. She built a pretty place on her land and for many reasons, she wants to sell it… To a loss. A huge loss.

We wish that nobody had to go through this. So please, ask for help if you find real estate that you love and want to buy.
